Distributed storage
A distributed storage system contains a large number of ordinary servers
interconnected through a network, providing storage services as a unified storage cluster. In the current software version, only ONEStor distributed storage is supported. ONEStor distributed storage monitoring is supported, allowing you to view ONEStor basic information, storage node details, storage cluster performance data such as IOPS and bandwidth, as well as disk state information on the management system.
Restriction and guidelines
• For distributed storage systems that have been added to this system, if the administrator modifies the corresponding IP address or password, it is necessary to synchronize the modifications of the IP address and password information for the distributed storage in the management system. This facilitates the re-establishment of the connection between the management system and the distributed storage system.
• For distributed storage systems that have been added to this system, if the corresponding username information is modified, it is required to delete the distributed resource in the management system and then add it again.
• External storage added in versions prior to E0536 cannot be used normally after upgrading to the current version. Please delete the previously added external storage and re-add it to ensure normal usage.
• Hosts installed with NingOS 2.0 do not support this feature.

Parameters
Add/edit distributed storage resource:
• Resource Name: Specify a name for the distributed storage resource.
• Description: Specify a description for the distributed storage resource.
• Resource Type: Select a distributed storage type. In the current software version, only ONEStor storage is supported.
• Handy IP: This parameter must be set when the resource type is ONEStor. It is the IP address used to access the ONEStor resource, i.e., the IP for logging into the ONEStor management platform.
• Port Number: This parameter must be set when the resource type is ONEStor. It is the port number for accessing ONEStor, with a default value of 80.
• Handy Username: This parameter must be set when the resource type is ONEStor. It is the username for logging into the ONEStor management platform.
• Edit Handy Password: If the password on the ONEStor side changes, update the password for accessing ONEStor here to keep it consistent with the ONEStor side. Otherwise, the system will fail to access the external storage. If "Yes" is selected, enter the new password in the "Handy Password" field to directly edit the handy password.
• Handy Password: This parameter must be set when the resource type is ONEStor. It is the password corresponding to the login username for accessing ONEStor.
View ONEStor resource summary information-basic attributes:
• IP Address: IP address of the ONEStor resource.
• Storage Nodes: Number of storage nodes in the ONEStor cluster.
• Total Storage: Total capacity of the ONEStor storage cluster.
• Total Available Storage: Total available capacity of the ONEStor storage cluster.
• Storage Cluster Usage: Ratio of used capacity to total capacity in the ONEStor storage cluster.
• Storage Cluster Health: Health status of the storage cluster and the number of normal, abnormal, and warning virtual nodes (i.e., PGs) in the cluster.
View ONEStor resource summary information-storage node information:
• Name: The host name of the storage node.
• Rack: The name of the rack where the storage node is placed.
• Storage Service IP Address: The service network IP address of the storage node. CVK hosts can access ONEStor storage using this IP.
• Partition: The storage area unit in the ONEStor cluster; this parameter indicates the name of the partition to which the storage node belongs.
• Disk Status: The disk status of the storage node, showing the number of normal disks and the total number of disks.
• Storage Capacity: The storage capacity of the storage node.
• Storage Usage: The storage utilization percentage of the storage node.
• CPU Usage: The CPU utilization percentage of the storage node.
• Memory: The memory capacity of the storage node.
• Memory Usage: The memory utilization percentage of the storage node.
View ONEStor resource performance monitoring information:
• Storage Cluster IOPS (Input/Output Operations Per Second): Number of read and write accesses processed per second by the storage cluster in the past hour.
○ Read: Indicates the number of read accesses.
○ Write: Indicates the number of write accesses.
• Storage Cluster Bandwidth: Refers to the amount of data transmitted per second by the storage cluster in the past hour, measured in KBps.
○ Read: Indicates the disk read traffic rate.
○ Write: Indicates the disk write traffic rate.
View ONEStor resource disk information:
• Device: Identifies the hard disk in the format of host name/disk letter name.
